A New Jersey family is filing a lawsuit against the Hasbrouck Heights School District alleging that it is responsible for a student's injury. According to the complaint, the Euclid Elementary School student was injured by a whiteboard at the school. The child's two guardians, who filed the lawsuit, have not commented on the extent of his injuries.
Named as defendants in the lawsuit are the district, Principal Michael Sickels, the state district superintendent, the borough, the county and the state, as well as 10 John Does and 50 ABC companies. The school district has not commented on the pending litigation.
